BOIA FESTIVAL 2026

Each October, St Davids comes alive with the sound of BOIA Festival, a three-day celebration of music taking place across venues throughout the city. From established names and emerging artists to intimate performances in some of St Davids’ much-loved local spots, BOIA brings music lovers together for a weekend with a distinctly Pembrokeshire feel. In 2026, the festival takes place from 23rd – 25th October, making it a great time to visit St Davids and experience the city at its most musical.

Tickets for the main festival

The main BOIA Festival programme takes place across City Hall and Tabernacle, with a packed line-up of artists performing throughout the weekend. Weekend tickets for 2026 have sold out, but day tickets are available, giving you access to the festival programme for your chosen day. Tickets are strictly limited, so if you’re planning to join the festivities, it’s worth booking ahead.

For full ticket information and the latest availability, visit the official BOIA Festival website.

A special stripped-back set at Twr y Felin

Every year, Twr y Felin Hotel hosts one of BOIA Festival’s much-loved stripped-back sets, and they’re always a popular part of the weekend. This year, on Sunday 25 October at 11:30am, we’ll welcome Welsh artist Gwenno to our Oriel Lounge for an intimate performance featuring just her voice and the hotel’s baby grand piano.

With the setting providing a more intimate way to experience the music, these special sets have become a highlight of the BOIA weekend. They also tend to get very busy, so if you’re hoping to join us, arrive early to avoid disappointment.

BOIA Trail

You don’t need a festival ticket to enjoy BOIA. Alongside the main ticketed programme, the BOIA Trail brings a series of free performances to venues around St Davids, giving you the chance to discover new music while exploring the city.

Performances take place in a variety of local venues, including The Bishops, The Farmers, Grain, Dead Sea Records. With free entry, the trail is a great way to dip into the festival atmosphere, catch a smaller set and discover some of the artists appearing across the weekend. Check the BOIA schedule for the latest performance times and listings.
