As you approach St Non’s Chapel, take time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and panoramic views across St Brides Bay. It’s a gentle walk that combines natural beauty with one of Pembrokeshire’s most significant historic landmarks.

Starting in the charming harbour village of Solva, this rewarding walk follows dramatic cliffs west towards Newgale Beach. Along the route you’ll encounter rugged headlands, hidden coves and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Keep an eye on the skies for choughs, ravens and peregrine falcons, while the surrounding waters are home to seals and, occasionally, dolphins. Finish at Newgale’s expansive two-mile beach, perfect for a well-earned rest beside the sea.

One of the most iconic walks on the St Davids Peninsula, this route links the historic site of St Non’s with the award-winning sands of Whitesands Bay. Following the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, walkers are treated to uninterrupted coastal views and some of the area’s most impressive scenery.
Continue past rugged cliffs towards St Davids Head, where ancient archaeological sites and sweeping views across Ramsey Island make this stretch particularly memorable before descending to Whitesands Beach.
