History of Twr y Felin Hotel

Built in 1806 as a working windmill, Twr y Felin’s location on the St Davids Peninsula was probably not the wisest choice to build a windmill, with the sails repeatedly falling off in heavy storms. After many repairs and new sails, the mill was converted into a temperance hotel, named ‘Twr y Felin Hotel’, with the original windmill incorporated within the building, which still stands today, including the observatory with 360-degree views of the peninsula.
