We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our Retreats Group family: an award-winning, warm and friendly working environment in Wales’ three leading boutique hotels: Twr y Felin Hotel, Penrhiw Priory and Roch Castle.
What we expect of you:
- Prepare breakfasts to company standards.
- Be able to work confidently unsupervised in a busy environment.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned for a safe working environment.
- Be aware of written and spoken requests, actioning them in a courteous, helpful manner.
- To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required.
- Ensure breakfast food stocks are in correct supply levels for the next day and for your days off, by ordering the appropriate food stocks to match business needs in a timely manner to reduce food waste and minimize out of date stock.
- To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
What We Are Looking For:
- A “can-do” attitude.
- The ability to follow orders and treat colleagues with respect.
- Previous experience as chef.
- Flexible attitude to working patterns over 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards.
- The ability to work well under pressure and keep a level head in a busy environment.
Salary: £13.00 per hour
