Tin Embossed Christmas Ornaments Workshop

You will learn how to emboss on lightweight metal using specialist tools, as well as finding out how to achieve different marks and textures using other objects. You will leave the workshop with 3-5 handmade decorations or a garland with 5 motifs that you’ve created.

You can choose from copper, silver or gold to create your piece(s) and the workshop will start with drawing ideas out to create templates to work from.

You will then translate these onto metal with embossing tools and learn about how to create an impression on the surface, before completing your pieces and assembling them into finished decorations. This session is suitable for complete beginners and all materials will be provided.
