Edward Elgar’s Welsh Connections, part of the Fishguard Festival of Music.

Despite being thought of as the quintessentially English composer, Elgar lived for most of his life next to the Welsh border in Worcestershire and Herefordshire and in close communion with the rivers Severn and Wye. This talk will explore his connections with the landscape of his ‘sweet borderland’ and of works either inspired by or partly written in Wales.

Tickets: £12, book here.
