To assist Head Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of operation of the Kitchen department within Retreats Group Ltd, to ensure they have the correct preparation needed to deliver our high level of service at our Three Rosette Restaurant, Blas.
What we expect of you:
- Plating and presenting meal items as per the head Chef and Sous Chef’s instructions.
- Prepare various meats, fish and sauces which includes washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits, as directed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
- Perform basic cleaning duties, ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized and comply with food health and safety regulations.
- Receive deliveries, verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
- Take inventory of kitchen supplies, notifying the Head Chef and Sous Chef of low or depleted supplies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Excellent personal presentation.
- A“can-do” attitude.
- The ability to follow orders and treat colleagues with respect.
- Ideally previous experience as chef in a fine dining restaurant.
- Flexible attitude to working patterns over 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exceptional standards.
- The ability to work well under pressure and keep a level head in a busy environment.
Salary: £12.94 per hour
